Delete your account

Last updated 5 October 2026

You can delete your Pulse account and the data in it at any time — in the app, or by asking us if you can't use the app.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Pulse, go to Profile and tap Delete Account, below Log Out.
  2. Read what will be deleted, tick I understand, and tap Continue.
  3. Type the full name registered on your account, tap Delete My Account, then Delete to confirm.

You will be signed out on all your devices straight away, and we email you to confirm the request.

Changed your mind?

Your account will be permanently deleted after 30 days. Until then, sign in again before the date shown in the app and in our email, and the deletion is cancelled.

Request it without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address your Pulse account uses, with the subject Delete my account.

If you can still sign in, you can also message the wellness team on WhatsApp from Profile → Message Miko in the app and ask them to delete your account.

We use the address you write from to confirm it is you. If you no longer have access to it, tell us your full name and assigned user ID and we will verify another way.

Once we have confirmed it is you, we schedule the deletion for you. The same 30 days apply: we email you the date, and signing in before then cancels it.

How long it takes

Your account is permanently deleted 30 days after your request. Deletion runs once a day, so it is completed within a day of that date, and we email you when it is done.

What will be deleted

What we keep, and why

Backups. We keep encrypted backups of our database for 15 days for disaster recovery. Your data is gone from them within 15 days of your account being deleted, and a deleted account is never brought back from a backup.

Apple Health and Health Connect

Deleting your Pulse account does not delete anything from Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. Pulse only reads it, and it stays there — under your control. You can remove Pulse's access in Apple Health or Health Connect at any time.

If you are a family member

You can delete your own account in the app in the same way, from Profile → Delete Account.

If the employee you use Pulse through deletes their account, and no other employee has added you, you lose access to Pulse and we email you. If you would also like your own Pulse account deleted, email us as described above.

Removing the app is not the same thing

Uninstalling Pulse signs you out on that device but does not delete your account. Use one of the ways above.
